Folk music is often created to describe character and place with the intent of connecting with the listener, here we are given the opportunity to experience music created without the intent to impress, but I suspect, for gratefulness of dwelling in life. Chasing Winter reminds us of the unique experience of an organic voice, intended for nature. Favorite track: Sally Away.

Chasing Winter was recorded with The Cutting List one night in 2013, amongst the cobwebs, dust, and graffiti of an old abandoned university hall outside of Melbourne, Australia. We lit candles, set up lamps, drank truckloads of coffee, and played music all night.
